BeyArMaMo has officially begun!

Welcome and thank you to everyone who has signed up. I'm really excited and happy that people are taking part! Big hugs to you all~!

Below is a list of all the entrants. If your name is not on here and it should be (or if it is and you never agreed to take part) let me know by way of a swift kick to the head and I'll add / remove you. Seriously, my brain's all over the place at the moment. I'm being a bit of a useless host.

Right then, BeyArMaMo!
It seems that there is interest in the mission but there are also concerns about the time-consuming nature of drawing a picture every day so...

I HAVE COME UP WITH A SOLUTION!

Participants now have the choice of challenge difficulty. You may either draw a picture every day, one picture a week or one picture in the whole of October. There we go! Much better!

So, let me just go through the details:

Challenge #1 - BeyArMaMo
One piece of art EVERY DAY
Total pieces of art - 31

Challenge #2 - Mini-BeyArMaMo
One piece of per week
Total pieces of art - 5
(Week 1 to be completed by Sun 4th / Week 2 to be completed by Sun 11th / Week 3 to be completed by Sun 18th / Week 4 to be complete by Sun 25th / Week 5 to be completed by Sat 31st)

One piece of art in October
Total pieces of art - 1

And here's a quick recap of the rules:

☆ All art must feature Beyblade characters, actual beyblades, lyrics from songs or some other Beyblade reference. The idea behind the challenge is to lavish love and affection the TV Series, but I guess as long as there's a reference in the picture somewhere, it still counts.

☆ YOUR ART DOES NOT HAVE TO BE GOOD. This is just for fun and, obviously, not everyone is going to be able to create a masterpiece EVERY DAY. Even if all you managed is a stick-Kai on the back of a tea-stained envelope, that's perfectly fine. More than fine, really, because you will have at least done something.

☆ The 'ship rule is being relaxed somewhat. You can have 'shippy pictures as long as they're not IN YOUR FACE. A picture that can be seen as either having either friendship or relationship is the best compromise. Kissing, overt sexiness or anything explicit are still prohibited. Sorry, guys.

☆ Criticism or negative comments in any form are strictly prohibited. If you don't like a picture, that's fine, that's your right, but for god's sake don't make a point of telling the artist.

☆ Remember, the idea behind the full BeyArMaMo mission is to challenge yourself to do something creative every day. If you find yourself falling behind, though, don't feel bad. As I keep mentioning, it is JUST FOR FUN!

So then, how to sign up?

Leave a comment here, or note me, with the challenge that you want to take part in (eg. Gasara / Challenge #2 - Mini-BeyArMaMo) then make some Beyblade art! That simple.

I'll be posting my images at livejournal (with some of the better ones, if there are any, over here too) but it'll probably be easier if you guys posted yours in your own galleries or image hosting accounts. Note me or e-mail me with links to your images and I'll create a BeyArMaMo gallery for all the images to be posted together. This site will be hosted on my own domain and I'll re-upload the pictures so there's no bandwidth theft. Oh, and obviously you will be credited VERY WELL AND CLEARLY.

It's up to you when you upload the pictures and send me the links. Even if you're doing the 31-day mission, you can still choose to send me the images every couple of days or once a week if it's easier. ^^

I'll also keep a list here of all the participants with links to your galleries (wherever they may be) so that everyone taking part can have access to all the entries.

And... I think that's it. Does any of this even make sense?! Sorry, I'm writing while tired again...

So, there we go. Sign up. Make art. Send me art. View other people's art. Congratulate yourselves on completing BeyArMaMo. That's pretty much how it works.

And as a bonus mission, on the 31st October (or the final week, or your one piece of art) if you want to, create a Beyblade halloween-themed picture and I'll print it in the back of my Beyblade doujinshi!
